Training consists of three 3-credit Construction Technology courses from the University of Alaska Southeast Ketchikan, 10-hours of OSHA Safety Training, First Aid/CPR training and Forklift Safety Training.

Ketchikan Construction Academy provides 150 hours of basic construction training at no cost for adults, 18 years or older, who are seeking skills that may lead to a good-paying job in the local construction industry.

To apply:

1. You must attend one orientation session:
  • Wednesdays at 5:30pm (Oct 19-Nov 23)
  • Thursdays at 12:00 pm (October 20-Nov 17)
